2012 MINI Roadster and Coupe spied on Nürburgring for first time

Upcoming new Coupe and Roadster prototypes doing some final testing before the models are unveiled later this year

MINI is now testing the 2012 Roadster and Coupe variants on the Nürburgring circuit.

The shots published here show two near production prototypes with camouflage still trying to hide the rear roof storage and trunk area of the Roadster model as well as the rear top end of the Coupe.

The Coupe is also attempting to mask its taller greenhouse and steeper windscreen, compared to the concept model that was shown in Frankfurt in 2009.

Both models are expected to make their debut at this year's Frankfurt motor show in September.
